15 tented suites create an experience that is rugged yet luxurious, blending the remoteness of the breath-taking setting with utter comfort and style.
Khoka Moya has been designed and constructed in such a way as to have minimal impact on the environment and features eco-friendly facilities and amenities. The luxury safari tents are spacious and airy, the canvas walls and roll-up flaps inviting the outdoors in.
Gauze tent flaps & mosquito nets offer protection from mosquitoes while allowing the cool breeze and sounds of the bush to gently lull one to sleep.
Honeyguide Camps is unfenced, so don't be surprised if you hear the whoop of hyenas, the lions contact calling or the sounds of elephants roaring through the camp.
The tents are furnished for maximum comfort and provides regular king bed/twin size beds.
Daily housekeeping and turn-down services are included, ensuring our guests' absolute comfort.

HDS to Manyeleti – rate R 2500.00 per way (R 5000.00 roundtrip) – for 1-9 persons We require confirmed flight details to book the service, subject to availability.
2024:
For transfers between HDS (Hoedspruit Airport) and Manyeleti Private Game Reserve, the rate is R 2310.00 for one-way travel (R 4620.00 for a round trip), accommodating groups of 1-9 passengers.

Directions
Honeyguide Tented Safari Camps are situated in the Manyeleti Private Game Reserve. You will arrive at the Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp and complete check in procedures & safety briefings, you will then be escorted to your accommodation by our staff.
By car from Johannesburg or Pretoria:
Honeyguide Tented Safari Camps is approximately 6 hours’ drive from Johannesburg.
From Johannesburg (R22), proceed towards Belfast. Exit the N4 at the Belfast intersection, enter town and turn right at the second stop sign in the direction of Dullstroom (R540).
Continue to Lyndenburg via Dullstroom. In Lyndenburg turn left and take R36 to Origstad. Continue in the direction of Hoedspruit via Abel Erasmus pass and JG Stijdom Tunnel.
Shortly after crossing the Blyde River, turn right in the direction of Orpen/Swadini (R531). Approximately 10km further, do not take the right turn to Swadini but continue straight in the direction of Klaserie. Continue pass Klaserie and turn left at the Orpen signpost and continue until you see the Manyeleti Reserve sign (approximately 36km). Turn right to enter the reserve and follow the Honeyguide Tented Safari Camp signs.
By car from Hoedspruit:
Honeyguide Tented Safari Camps is approximately 40 minutes’ drive from Hoedspruit Airport.
From Hoedspruit Airport, travel south on the R527 towards Klaserie & continue past Klaserie, turn left at the Orpen signpost and continue until you see the Manyeleti Reserve sign (approximately 36km). Turn right to enter the reserve and follow the Honeyguide Tented Safari Camp signs.

SADC Residents
Experience Africa’s most sought-after safari camps at reduced rates for local citizens.
If you hold a passport from a Southern African country or are a resident, you may qualify for highly discounted SADC rates.
These discounts become available and vary occasionally, so please inquire with our reservations team for updated specials, and be sure to state your nationality.

- Morning safari drives include a hot beverage, while late afternoon and evening drives feature a sunset drink

- Bush walks*
*Bush walks are available at an additional cost and subject to ranger and staff availability:
Bush Walk (3 hours – Morning/Afternoon): R500 per person
After-breakfast walk (1.5 hours): R500 per person
Note: Bush walks are not available for children under 18 years.

Please inform us in advance of any dietary requirements so we can cater accordingly. Additionally, we kindly request that any allergies be communicated before arrival to ensure our onsite staff is well-prepared.
Daily Planner
Below is a general itinerary of your daily experience at Honeyguide Tented Safari Camps. Timings may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.
05:30 – Wake-up call with traditional drumbeats, followed by tea, coffee, and rusks before meeting at reception for the morning game drive.
06:00 – Morning game drive (approximately 3 hours) with snacks and tea/coffee provided.
09:30 – Breakfast. Guests will be given the option to participate in a Bush Walk (for ages 16+). Junior Bush Walks can be arranged around the camp perimeter for children under 16.
14:00 – Lunch.
16:00 – Afternoon game drive (approximately 3 hours) with snacks and soft drinks.
20:00 – Dinner. A communal outdoor meal (weather permitting) where guests interact with rangers. The chef will present the menu once all guests are seated.

Children’s Policy
Children of all ages are welcome at Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp.
0 - 2 years: Free of charge
2 - 12 years: 50% of the adult rate
12+ years: Full adult rate
Children of all ages may join game drives at Khoka Moya only. Babysitting services are available upon request, subject to availability.

All activities are supervised by camp staff. Children will also receive an educational Junior Safari Activity Book. Child-friendly board games and nature books are available at both Khoka Moya and Ranger Camp.

Private Safari Vehicles
For a more personalized safari experience, you can book a private vehicle at R2,500 per drive (for up to 10 guests). This allows you to explore the reserve at your own pace and focus on your specific interests.
